We will explore the design and implementation of an internal career development program focused on upskilling and reskilling employees. We deep dive into strategies for identifying skill gaps, tailoring training initiatives to meet evolving organizational needs, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
In the presentation you will learn:
Swati Sahni is a Senior Program Manager with Amazon Career Choice, an education benefit that empowers employees to learn new skills for career success. She brings 15+ years of experience in workforce development, education policy and community building. She is also the Founder & CEO of IvyPlus Network, a professional network of alumni from the top global universities. Previously, she worked in the education policy space with UNICEF, World Bank and Ministry of Education in India. Swati has a Masters in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she was a Fulbright-Nehru Scholar.
I am excited to work in a program that creates impact in the lives of our associates at Amazon. The education benefit truly helps them change their lives by upskilling themselves and pursuing careers they are passionate about. I am passionate about making it easier for Amazonians to pursue their aspirations, especially in difficult economic contexts, where frontline workers may not have the flexibility and financial resources to teach themselves new skills.
