Today’s increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and often ambiguous environment is forcing companies to transform at an unprecedent pace. While the dramatic changes occurs in technology and the rapid transformation of the social and economic fabric have transformative ways of doing business and the field of employment, we seriously experience how important it is for Human Resources strategies and practices to be data-driven and agile in order to keep up with the change. This changing landscape, is forcing HR Professionals and leaders to find new ways for talent management. With in this context, “employee experience” is emerging as a key strategic approach that has taken talent management’s place for leveraging the organizations effectiveness.
Türk Telekom’s human-centric employee experience approach, includes work towards designing a high-value, integrated and end-to-end experience that align employees at the center of their business strategies and creates all perceptions of employees’ interactions with the company. This approach including that creating a sense of belonging that aligns the employee and the organization, to create new ways for employees and teams to achieve the best performance results by creating a trust-oriented and sharing company culture. Türk Telekom’s Employee Experience approach has able to open new ways in which not only teams, but also the individual employees can reveal their effectiveness and the potential they have.

Esra Buldu has majors on Psychology and a master's degree in Organizational & Industrial Psychology. She began her career as a psychologist responsible for assessments and evaluation in recruitment and career processes at Türkiye's largest airline company after specializing in Psychometric Assessment and Evaluation and Existential Therapy Approach.In 2010, she became a member of Türk Telekom as a Human Resources professional and managed different teams (Finance, Strategy and Business Development, Marketing, Law & Regulation, Investor Relations, etc.) as a HR Business Partner. During her HRBP role, she has successfully balanced the needs of the business with the needs of employees. She has been given the responsibility of establishing the Employee Experience department following her extensive HRBP career. She is in charge of designing the employee experience from a holistic perspective, managing the future of work, workplace culture, the agenda of digitalization, change management, sustainable working models and employer branding strategies. Currently, she manages 17 different HR Projects. With the Employee Experience approach that she designed, received the International Brandon Hall Innovative Human Resources Approach award on behalf of Türk Telekom. Professional and personal backgrounds; in addition to areas such as talent acquisition, talent management, culture and change management she also focuses on coaching and mentoring, and she continues her studies in this field within Türk Telekom. Esra Buldu continues to work as the Employee Experience and Employer Branding Senior Manager at Turk Telekom.On the basis of her psychology and sociology background, she passionate about understanding human behavior, helping to unlock human potential is the greatest source and finding new ways to propel businesses forward.
